Letter for unemployment

Hi All,

I have been working since 2007 till September 2016, and have been unemployed since then. Is there any letter for the unemployed period to be submitted, along with other documents for PR application? If yes, is there any specific format for that?

If you didn't already apply online for EI, you need to be prepared to explain why you didn't apply sooner. Service Canada is funny that way.....

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. However, I do not have the Social Insurance Number since I have received the ITA last week. Also, am yet in the process of collecting all the required documents to be submitted like the police certificate, proof of funds, etc.
