Hello all,

My girlfriend is going to re-new her temporary resident visa ( she has a valid international student visa)

I am prepared to write the letter for the financial support - can a "boyfriend" provide thus letter? we are not common law at this point

Of course you can, if you have sufficient funds and income. Common law equals marriage in Canada.
