Hi,

This is just an idea to put pressure on Ottawa office.

Let's all who are waiting for PR from Ottawa to send an email to them either to ask for the status of the application or have a comment on this ridiculous process.
Email: OttPilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca
Date: This coming monday?

Regards,

not sure if that is a good idea.....I think they work at there own pace. they can easily say that the processing time is out of there hands due to background checks etc...

just my humble opinion.

Dude u need to understand, If any country starts taking immigrants left and right there would be massive inflow and everybody would be job less.

Doing paperwork for Ottawa doesnot take time. They have to plan the immigration channel inflow so as to maintain the economy

For example say that u apply today and they process application in 1 day and give u pr tomorrow

If a million people apply, that's 1million pr per day and 365 million people inflow in Canada?????

So hope u get the point. I know waiting is no fun. But at the top a lot of planning goes into picture.

Also Asking for ur PR is not ur right. It's a priviledge

Sorry I didnot want to hurt anybody but let's think rationally and logically and world would be much better place to live

yes i agree as well

I think it depends upon nationality as well. They definitely control the influx from different countries if the number of applicants is huge from that country.

although I am sure they will never agree to this officially on website.

overall I think, the process needs to be made more transparent and a queue should be maintained so that a 2012 applicant doesnt get PPR before 2011...if this is happening then they should inform the applicant why the delay is happening.......

but in the end we cant argue much with them.
