less than 6 months validity on passport

Has anyone got their PR but had less than 6 months on their passport? i recall reading somewhere that you need to have your passport valid for 6 months before they will issue your PR. My passport was valid when i submitted my PR application, but it's dragged on for so long - and now it is going to expire in August.

You are better off applying for a new one... They will not issue any kind of visa including the immigrant visa they stamp after u get passport call .. They will ask u to renew so better off doing it ryt now
