I am really in need of your help! My Australian common law partner applied for extention of his Temporary Resident Visa under WHP (working holiday program) last April 17, 2013.. His current visa will going to expire this coming June 6 and we havent heard anything from CIC..
My questions are:
1. We checked the processing times and it says Work Permit (same employer) 90 days and New temporary resident visa
(For valid Study or Work Permit holders ONLY) 24 days.. Which category does he fall??
2. We are goin to Mexico for a week leaving May 30 coming back June 6.. If we havent heard anything from CIC before June 6 does it mean that he is not allowed to enter Canada?
3. What other option(s) he can do while waiting for his new visa? Will the immigration officer(s) send him back to Australia??
Please I do need your help!!!!
