Hi,

Can any senior member help me to find out the NOC Code for Hotel Management Trainee? I have completed a 17 months management training program in a 3 diamond star hotel in USA?

Can I count this time towards education or experience?

Thanks guys.

Re: !Help!NOC Code

Are you gonna apply as "Teacher"?

If yes , then your code would be 4131. Bellow i have pasted one link,go there and check if it is what you are looking for, if not then on lefthand is one white box, write there your occupation and serahc,it will return all details.

good luck

So 17 months trainee can be counted as 0631?

Thanks again.

No, you weren't a Manager you were a trainee.

Hi PMM,

Under the 0631 there are some job titles. One of them is Manager Trainee. When I looked at the responsibilities of NOC 0631 I noticed that I have done most of it throughout this program.

I attached my responsibilties in this program. Please let me know whether it might fall under 0631.

• 3* Diamond Flagship Hotel with 1068 guest rooms
• Worked in all food and beverage outlets including Starbucks as a barista, Banquets Department as a Banquet captain, Stewarding Department as a Steward Supervisor.
• Worked as a Restaurant Supervisor in its world well known Sundial Restaurant Bar & View.
• Responsible for day to day operation of outlet, inventory, associate relations, ordering, stocking.
• Department training procedures.
• Daily and weekly forecasting, scheduling, payroll procedures, requisition and revenue reporting.

Thanks,

Volky

Good luck, IMHO opinion you were a trainee and therefor didn't have the skills for the position that they were training you in otherwise you would have been called a Manager.
