Dear Leon,
I want to thank you for answering all my questions so promptly.
I still need some clarification on my husband's PR STATUS.
His PR CARD expired in 2008. But he lives with me and I am a canadian citizen.
Now we are planning to travel to Canada in June. Both my sons are Canadian citizens and live in Canada.
My husband needs to apply for a travel document.
1) will he be given one since his PR card expired and also he did not travel to Canada after 2003 Dec.?
2) if he gets one.. can he board the flight based on a travel document? the airlines are very strict about
travelling to Canada.
3) at the CANADIAN IMMIGRATION, I will be questioned I suppose and will be required to provide some proof that we live together. what kind of proofs they might ask?
will they pull out my record of travelling to canada during this period?
4) should I say that we have been living together outside of Canada since 2003, which is the truth
but the problem is that I have never declared myself as a NON RESIDENT CANADIAN .
I hope I dont get myself into trouble while trying to keep my husband's PR STATUS.......
I want to know what kind of questions are asked at the immigration in such situations.
thanks
