Length of pgwp for studies without schedule academic breaks

I am an international student planning to study in Canada at a designated learning institution. The program that I am interested in is an 18-20 months intensive program without schedule academic breaks. If i decide to pursue that program, what will be the length of the pgwp?

Will it be 18 months pgwp?
Or would Canadian immigration factor academic breaks (which would probably make the program equivalent to 2 years in total) and then issue a 3 year pgwp?

so if I complete the program in 18 months that means I will only be eligible for 18 months work permit?

I also saw something on the Canadian immigration website which states that if A program is more than 8 months longs but less than 2 years and have schedule academic breaks then immigration will issue a pgwp that is the total program length plus the academic break.

I have lost the direct link to the website for the statement above but how true is the statement?
