Legally married [medical issue]

If a legally married spouse has certain medical issues, can he/she be denied visa on medical grounds? Or is spouse sure to get visa sooner or later?

i believe it depends on which stream they are trying to immigrate on. is the person being sponsored by a canadian citizen or pr through spousal pr or are they accompanying their spouse on another type of PR application?

then no, i don't believe a spousal PR applicant can be denied for medical reasons. i'm sure others will come along to confirm this.

Only if the medical issue is contagious or dangerous to other Canadians (i.e. Tuberculosis).
