Leaving Work - Timing of legal stay

Hi CanadaVIsa Forum:

I have a work permit (not an open work permit), might be quitting my job since my husband is being offer to be moved to another coutnry, if I was to quit my job, legally what is the amount of time that I have in canada to stay before I have to leave. We want to know so that we can start organizing ourselves so that we can sell our stuff and focus on the move.

Or the day you quit, legally that would be consider the last day that we are permitted to be in canada? please you help :-[

You can stay until the expiry day of your current work permit.
