Leaving JOB during PR in process. Am I eligible for Open Work Permit in any case

Hi All,

After receiving the Nova Scotia - PNP, I did applied for PR. I am on close work permit with my employer. My employer has decided to send me back to my country as my project is completed and I have not received my PR. Is there a option to get a Open work permit so I can get another JOB while PR is in process. Or it is advisable to go for a new job while PR is in process through PNP.

I am looking to clear out what options I have and what best I can do during these conditions.

You can get open work permit based on your pnp certificate. It will be valid for one year. A friend of mine got AINP and he applied for the OWP and got it. Contact your pnp people for more information, ie how to apply for it etc.
