Hello everyone, I've been following forum for the last four months but writing something first time. My file was reached in mid October and cc has been cashed too. Something is now eating me up so I thought to take an opinion from experienced people. I do have a good lawyer and he is trying his best for me. My wp expired in December and my paper application was refused too as AOR was not issued even after four months.
I'm now out of status and leaving for India soon once I receive AOR. I do not have visitor to stay and do not want to go to study. I will wait for PR in India and then will come back. Please tell me, will I be able to come back?? I'm counting my rest life on this basis and only chance to come back. Please tell me the possiblilites and risks of waiting for PR in India.

There shouldn't be any difference whether u r in Canada or India ..
If everything okay with ur file then u shld get ur pr in 12 months..
All the best ..update ur address once u get ur AOR ..

Thank you very much for your reply. Actually, many people asked me not to leave and go to study but I prefer to wait there. So, can you tell me when can October applicants expect medical and will I get that in India?

I hate to break it to you, but some people are getting their applications refused due to the cap being hit in October. Do some more research here on the forums and else where. I think it was hit late in October around the 23rd, but like I said do some more research.

The current wait time is 12 months, so expect a MR request (that is if your application is within the cap) around August. This is my guess going on my current thoughts and research.

Good luck.

Do not panic. If you have been cashed, then definitely you will get the AOR. Since you have lost the status in Canada now, best for you is to leave the country and wait for your PR in your homeland (India). You do not want to get into legal immigration defaulters list after all.

Once you get your AOR, your application will not be any different from folks who are in Canada. So do not worry and remain legal

Hello, I'm glad to get positive reply from all of you. As you know, I have 90 days to go back to restroration status so that is up to May 8. I would fly today but waiting for AOR before I leave. Will that create any problem to be in Canada for more 15 days and receive AOR and then leave? Will airport authority stamp deport on my passport as my wp expired in dec and then was on implied status till Feb.9? How do I explain that I do have 90 days to leave the country?
