Hi Guys,

Was wondering if you could provide me with any advice!

I am a British/Australian citizen, and my girlfriend is British. We have lives in Canada on temporary worker work permits for the past two years, and are hoping to be selected in the next round of express entry, as we have enough points.

If we make an application for permanent residence we were hoping to return to Britain for a few months, which would mean I would quit my job. If I leave after my PR application is submitted will it make any difference? If yes would we better off applying from outside Canada?

I cannot find any consistent information on this subject, any help would be much appreciated!

Don't quite your job.

At best find a good reason to take 1-2 month job break. Like selling your property in UK. It is better to apply from Canada and not from abroad.
