leaving Canada when visitor visa expires soon

Hi all,

I would like to go on vacation to US and will be going back to Canada roughly about a week before my visitor visa expires. I have a working permit valid for another two years. My question is if it will be ok, or I can have some troubles at the border. Does anyone have experience with this situation?

You will be fine. As long as you have a valid work permit and are only traveling to the US or St. Pierre et Miquelon you will be re-admitted.
