Hi everyone. I am a new poster here and I would love to receive some insight. I know this topic has been asked a lot but I would love if someone can give me more information.

I applied for citizenship this year in January of 2018. My application went in process in March of 2018. I have lived in Canada for the past 4 years and with only a couple of short trips abroad. Since applying I have stayed in Canada all the way till the end of June; however, I will now be leaving to study in the US in one of my dream medical schools, which is essentially a 4 year program. I would like to know if this would create a significant problem for my citizenship application. As far as receiving correspondence matters, my dad will be regularly checking our mail and since my medical school is close to my home it really shouldn't be a problem coming back for the citizenship test and interview. I am just worried that this will create a problem in my application.

I would really appreciate if someone can give me any insight.

You should be fine. A friend of mine lost her job in Toronto but the company found her a position in one of its overseas branches - she moved 2 months after submitting her application, and flew back for test a few months ago, already got DM

Based on how you described your situation, you should not have any problem.
