Leaving Canada and coming back in before extension determined?

Hi,

Sorry, for the odd title, but I couldn't think of a better way to word my problem. I am a US citizen and entered Canada on March 25, 2013. My passport was not stamped with an exit date. On August 27th, I mailed off my visitor extension forms requesting additional time to be allowed to stay in the country. I understand that I have "implied status" from when my 6 months expire on September 25th until whenever a determination is made.

My problem (or rather worry) is that I have to go home on Wednesday the 25th of September for family stuff. I'm driving home and was planning on flying back (with a return ticket of course) on October 6th. Will I have an issue re-entering the country? I have the receipt showing I did file for an extension and when I filed.

Your visitor status ends when you leave Canada, so you will be apply for a new entry as a visitor when you return.
