Hi All,

Thanks in advance for your help/advice.

I am currently applying for PR through common law and had originally applied before my 2 year IEC work permit ran out. Unfortunately, i didn't complete one of the forms correctly and my application was returned 2 days after my work permit expired.
So I currently have no status but I need to return home in June for a family event for a few days. Is there anything I can bring with me to show them when I try to get back in to Canada that my application is being processed? Or anything that will help me to get back in?

Thank you!

Perhaps you should have applied for Restoration of Status, since being in Canada without status is never advised, but...

You should familiarize yourself with what Dual Intent means and how CBSA looks at that for a person, such as yourself, seeking re-entry into Canada.

If you've submitted an Inland application, you really should consider staying in Canada, because if you are denied re-entry, your application is toast.
