Leaving after Work Permit Expires

Hi guys,

My work permit expires in a few days (the 6th), and I have my flight home booked for four days after it expires (the 10th).

Is this going to be an issue and do I have to apply to change my status to visitor for that time, or will I be okay to just leave it?

I am flying to Australia, but have an 8 hour layover in LA and obviously don't want any hassle from immigration officers about leaving after the expiration of my status as a worker. I just want to get home hassle free

That's fine. 4 days overstay is nothing compared to those who overstay longer than you have.
