Leave Canada during the interim period

I applied for visitor's extension.I am in the interim period.Can I leave Canada during this period.My immigration is in process.If I leave now,will it be a problem for me in furture.I do have a copy of postal evidence that they recieved my application and also cc receipt.If I leave during this period will I become out of status.

You can leave now, it should not cause any problems with your immigration application.
Be aware that your "implied status" will be void when you leave.

Obviously there are no guarantees that you will be let back into Canada (while your application is in process) when you return.
