Hi,
I just have some concerns about the Live in Caregiver program. I read the CIC website all about the live in caregiver program requirements and it said " prospective live in caregivers should take training courses like the ones offered in Canadian Colleges. Take programs like geriatric care, pediatric nursing, "early childhood education". Here is whats confusing me, when I was researching they said that "teachers wouldn't really qualify as a live in caregiver and that the application would be rejected. When I was looking at the early childhood education programs it said that upon completion of the program you can work in fields like pre-k teacher, and other types of "teachers" but said nowhere " nanny" or " babysitter". so what does the CIC website really mean?? Also, is early childhood education certificate same as early childhood development certificate? And also, would it be okay if I were to take the training program in the US ? any advice would be appreciated
