my employer has no work at the moment, and she still want to keep me...

now, the situation is, she going to layyoff me for only a month and then hire me back after a month.
I am a live in caregiver.

questions are,
is this possible for live-in caregiver?
what will happen to my lmo and workpermit which will expire on dec2015?
is this will affect my permanent residency application?
please tell me what to do?

I do not think so.

What province do you live? There should be some non-profit organization where you , as a foreign worker, could get a professional advice.

You also could call to HRDC and ask them. They will not ask your name.

It is called a temporary lay off. Most provinces allow it, sometimes with a notice period of how fast an employer can lay you off. In AB, it's one day, in MB, it's a week. You can be laid off in AB for up to 60 days before the employer must either call you back or lay you off permanently. I do not know if live-in caregivers are exempt from temporary lay off. You should call the employment standards in your province to find out.

It should not affect your PR application except of course you will not get hours for that one month you don't work.

You could just ask for leave without pay instead. However, if you take the temporary lay off, it is possibly that you would qualify for EI
