Expected Study Permit Receive Date : Mid November 2018

Last Joining Date : 4th September 2018
Program Duration : 10 months

My university has accepted my request to join next year. I have following question on my case

1) Can I use the same study permit for next year joining in Sep 2019?

2) Can I go to Canada in November and start working part time under professor or internship till my next session starts and then join the program next year?

Regards,

Aman

If you don't study for 90 days the study permit will expire and no you cannot work if you are not studying.

so in that case even if i get study permit in Mid Nov, it is of no use and I have to re apply for next year session??

1. Depending on how long they give you, yes.

2. No. If you work before actually starting to study, you will be working illegally.

Note that this requirement applies only after the person has come to Canada and actually been issued a study permit.
