Hi everyone.
Yesterday, we received SA and was lucky enough to have our common law application retained in Mississauga for further processing.
Today I received an email through saying:
'Dear Sir/Madam,
Please see the attached document for your final approval and visa issuance.'
This email came with an attachment asking for an 'updated info chart', copy of my passport info pages and also 2 recent photos of myself.
I understand this is the 'passport request' meaning that my application is pretty much done (incredible considering I only got SA yesterday). I did however have a couple of questions regarding this next step.
1. In regards to the 'updated info chart' - Do i just put my information on it (applicant) or do I have to include my common law spouse's info too (sponsor)?
2. The form also requests I send all of the above information through to the Canadian Embassy in London, UK. Do I send it there even though my application was retained and processed in Mississauga? It does say on the form that:
'If you and all the accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and
plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit photocopies of your passport(s)
to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (“CPC-O”). You are required to send the passport
photocopies together along with a copy of this correspondence by mail or courier to the
following address.'
Shall I just send the package to Ottawa (as I am currently in Canada), or is this only relevant if its an inbound application?
Thank you in advance for any guidance.
