Hi guys .. So hopefully I will be submitting my PR application in a few days. I have some random last minute questions to ask:

1) My scanner isn't very good in terms of quality. Although the scanned documents are readable, they have this 'spotlight' effect where the center of the scan is much brighter than the sides. Would such scans be acceptable ?

2) Are there any documents which are *recommended* that you scan and upload even if CIC doesn't ask for them explicitly ? For example, CIC doesn't explicitly ask for a scan of your ECA document, but I know that it's highly recommended that you also scan and send that, or you face the chance of being rejected. What about things like a scan of your National ID card, or your birth certificate, etc. ? Any scans with can 'strengthen' the validity of other documents which CIC *has* asked for ?

3) Do I have to attach a scan of my TOEFL report card with the Education documents ?

4) I was told in a prior thread that I should attach my secondary education certificate scans with my PR application, even if I only got my Bachelor's and Master's evaluated from WES (link!). Is this still something that's recommended ? My secondary education is O/A Levels, not Matric/Intermediate which the linked thread mentions.

5) For work experience, I only need to upload Experience Letters, right ? This is assuming the Experience Letters contain all the information they need, which in my case I think is true. What about job offer letters ? What about pay stubs or pay slips (electronic email ones) ? My letters mention what salary I got briefly in 1-2 simple sentences (e.g. His salary was XYZ, His initial salary was XYZ but it was incremented bi-annually, etc.).

Thanks in advance! :)

Legible and within acceptable size. Period.

No such recommendations. ECA was explicitly asked from me so I'm not sure if this happens randomly. No harm in uploading additional documents - don't exceed the overall size limit and remember that you can upload only 1 document per placeholder.

3) Do I have to attach a scan of my TOEFL report card with the Education documents ?

Not required.

4) I was told in a prior thread that I should attach my secondary education certificate scans with my PR application, even if I only got my Bachelor's and Master's evaluated from WES (link!). If the experience letters mention everything CIC wants (job responsibilities, tenure, position, supervisor details etc), nothing else is required.

Thanks in advance! :)

1) If TOEFL document isn't required, how does CIC verify the score ?

2) What is the max allowed filesize for attachments ? It doesn't state there explicitly and I don't want to upload anything without finalizing.

3) Provided you don't exceed the max filesize, is there any harm in providing extra documentation, e.g. transcripts, TOEFL report, WES report, etc.

If you mean IELTS, CIC verifies that using the TRF number provided in the application.

4 MB per placeholder. It must be mentioned in the document checklist somewhere.

No harm.

Haha, sorry, yeah I meant IELTS everywhere in this thread :) .. Okay, I won't attach IELTS scan then.

Would appreciate if you can address the questions I just asked at the end here:

Got another question ..

I have a couple of past addresses which don't technically have a 'Street Number' as such. The whole addresses themselves are actually relational (e.g. "Near XYZ") as the area isn't properly mapped by the government, even though it's a major city in Pakistan (3rd world country so what can you expect!) ... Anyways, so what do I write in the Street Number field ? Currently I think I'm just writing 'N/A' there for all such addresses.

Just a reminder that my question above is still unanswered ..... :)

Also had another question:

So I decided that in addition to providing scans for my previous Bachelors and Masters degrees, I should also send along scans of their respective transcripts (although it's not technically 'required'). However because of filesize limitations, I'm unable to attach scans of my WES report pages. So is it okay to leave out the WES report scans ?

ECA report is more important that the transcripts, don't leave that out. There was at least one case in early June where someone was rejected because their ECA report was missing and their ECA reference number did not transfer to CIC for some reason.

Can't you say the same thing about transcripts too (i.e. they can be considered important) ?

Also, my earlier question which you might not have seen: I have a couple of past addresses which don't technically have a 'Street Number' as such. No. Foreign educational credentials and transcripts are assessed by designated agencies who then provide you an ECA report. This process is 'outsourced' to those agencies who understand it best and CIC doesn't question their expertise on these areas. Hence there is no point in sending transcripts again to CIC after having sent them to the assessment agencies already as part of the assessment process.

Not a serious issue. Writer a you please as long as you maintain accuracy of information provided.
