Hi, I am in a fix. Need help!

I am 27, and Since I am 19 I have lived out of my home town at various places in different cities while pursuing my graduation, while working, during internships etc. I do not even have a count but I am sure it must be more than 15 places and mostly in India as students we never really had formal rent agreements back then but mostly informal arrangement through friends and families(paying rent obviously).

I do not at all remember the dates and the exact addresses of all the houses I have lived or shared with friends. All this while all my bank and official correspondence was done at my home(permanent) address. Could anyone please suggest how to go about it now? Do I have to find out all the dates and addresses of all the places I have very stayed in the last ten years?

Any help will be much appreciated!

this is tricky. as far as possible you will need to list your residences depending on your work or education which is going in your application. for eg: if you studied in city A, you cannot mention city B as your residence for the same period as then it creates misinterpretation

Cic does not ask for any housing proofs so you really do not need agreement copies etc. they just need the list of addresses from a PCC point so as to make sure your police clearance is covered for all places you resided in. its preferable you mention all addresses (even if it was staying with friends or family) and make sure you dont leave any time gaps as they always ask questions on that. all the best

Hi, Thank you @mapleleaf987 for your reply! I was able to somehow track all the addresses and the months I lived on at various places but do I need to be precise to the level of writing the exact dates because I don't remember the exact dates I started and stopped living at a place?
