Hi All,

I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times over so I apologize if I'm repeating previous posts but....

I am a native English speaker, I have always gone to English speaking schools, both my parents are native English speakers and we've spoken it in the home. It's basically the only language I know and I come from the United States. I did my bachelors in degree in English here in Canada.

Do I really have to take the IELTS test for immigration purposes?

Thanks!

Yes, you still have to do it. It's the same answer as the other posts you read, in English ;)

You could have written the Oxford dictionary, but you will still need to write the exam and provide the original results.
