Hi Everybody,

I would like to ha an orientation regarding a course that I would like to do before I start a Master.
I have applied for visa to studying a master in UBC, which was approved and starts in January.
Since the beginning of this year I have studying French and now I am interested of having an intensive French course of three or four month just before the master starts. In this case, is it possible to use the same study visa to also have the French course either in Quebec or in British Columbia?
I appreciate your orientation and recommendations.

Greeting,

No - not possible. It would only be possible if the French program was required for you to be accepted into the Masters program. You will need to obtain a visitor visa to take the French program and then activate the study permit when you start your Masters. You won't be able to work until you have started your Masters program.
