Hi everyone this here is my second post,since getting my Aip in april 2009.I did inland application and did not have any legal status until i received my owp form my Aip,i came to canada on vistor visa but it got expired!Me and my wife sent in our application for my sponsorship in september 2008,application rececieved in september and started processing october2008,my wife sponsorship application begins process in march 2009,in march2009 cic vegreville request additional ducuments by mail ,this was send and recieved in april2009,I got my Aip letter in this same month stating that i meet pr requirements and that i can now apply for owp, cic sent me a medical form with my Aip which they said i should take to the medical doctor;my wife also got her sponsorship approval in the mail with my Aip.my medical was done in may 2008 and received by cic in the same month.my file was transfered to my local cic office in june2009;and in april 2010 my wife got the letter we were waiting on with the confrimation of my pr,me and my wife went in to pick up my pr on may 03,2010;the lady at the front desk call us in to pay the right of pr fee $490,which i did and then we went in to meet the immigration officer for my landing;all she did was check over my ducuments and ask me if i had committed any offence and to make sure that all the information on my landing paper was correct and also my address, because my pr card will be send to this address in 4 to 6 weeks ,thats it me and my wife walk out smiling and happy and planning a trip to the caribbean.We have no interview whatsoever during the whole process and i was out of status from 2005 until i get my my owp from my Aip ,we did not use any laywer or any reprsentative ethier,just me and my wife full out the form.Good luck to all and pray and keep the faith you all will get there.
