Hello everyone,
My wife is from the US. I sponsored her to live in Canada. After a long wait waiting to take the X-ray exam, her application was on hold, it finally at its last stage.

She gave birth in October in the US. I am a naturalized Canadian Citizen. Which makes my daughter a citizen by descent. Therefore, she cannot be sponsored and cannot be given a visa.

The question is. Can we all drive together to the Canadian port of entry and my wife will do her landing? What about my daughter? All that we have is her birth certificate. Will they give us issues at the border because we do not have proof of her citizenship?

I am in the process of submitting an application for my daughter's proof of citizenship but that will take approximately 5 months to process and we don't wanna wait that long.

Any advice is appreciated, especially from those that have been through a similar situation.

You can go together. You won't have issues with your daughter.
