landing together????

Hello everyone,

I sponsered my common law partner outland from paris, we got approved and recieved our COPR back in april and have to land before April 2014.

I would like to know if I (the sponsor) have to be there when my partner lands, or if it is ok If I join him at a later date?

I would like to know if I (the sponsor) have to be there when my partner lands, or if it is ok If I join him at a later date?

Only the applicant needs to be there for the landing. Sponsor can also attend if they happen to be on the same flight to Canada, but its totally optional.
