Documents required to complete the landing are the CoPR and your passport.
However, it's recommended to also bring your work permit ( if you have one ), a bank statement, the last t4 with you. Not that it's required,
but some officers still want to see it and it's better to come prepared than to leave empty handed.

Hi Toby
Why do we need a bank statement in case of CEC ?
I think they ask for it only if we file under FSW
Plz correct me if I am wrong

a few people have been asked in the past - I think it's at the quieter borders where officers maybe don't have the information on CEC that they need. Anyway. It's not requested anywhere on the COPR and it's not a requirement of CEC so technically you could argue with a border officer on that point but it's maybe not recommended :P Toby was just advising in case they happen to ask for it

Yea I guess thats a good idea to have a back up
Question - Do we need to show a certain amount of funds in our bank statement?

Since it's not a requirement for CEC, you could say no.
If you want to take your statement just in case then I'd refer to the FSW requirements

Correct. As I said, it's not a requirement, but better come prepared than sorry :)

guys, I did landing successfully yesterday. for CEC they only asked for COPR, passport and driving license. I went at 9:30pm, it was all empty it was simple 10 min to get PR.

one interesting thing, I went again after landing to get my I-94.. I met the same border offcier, he as like.. "you came back again", I said yes, just to get I-94 because I have plans travel US for upcoming long weekend, and to get I-94 on long week take too much time. so one trip, two thing done :))

cheers and good luck guys... thanks again to everyone for help.
