All,

Please review this and advise one our landing queries. I have read through experiences of crossing to Canada at Niagara. I am currently in US and intend to do the same. I am here on L1 visa and spouse on B1 visa. Both visas are valid. We have the CoPR papers with us. We plan to cross over to Canada either at Rainbow bridge or at the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge. It will only be a short landing over the weekend and plan to return to US border on the same day or next day Sunday. Please advise if this will work. I will take the I797 and I94 forms along with passport with L1 stamping. Spouse is on B1 visa with valid I94. My passport is expiring in December 2016 which is less than 6 months. However I found that Indian passport is exempt from the rule of 6 months validity to enter US.

Thanks

To add, Queenston/Lewiston Bridge generally less busy for PR landings. Would recommend this one.

Take PoF, you may not be asked, it seems to be hit and miss but you don't want to be asked for and not have it!
