landing in one province then moving to another

Greetings:

If I understand correctly, there is no problem with crossing the border and landing in one province, while providing an address for the PRC which is in another province. Can someone confirm this?

Also, regarding the 30-odd day wait for the PRC...does the clock start ticking once you actually land? Or once you provide an actual address to which the PRC can be sent?

I was wondering if you got answer to your query.
I have the same problem.
I landed in Canada on 10th MAy and provided a friends address.
But the card has not yet been delivered.
Do I have to provide the address using the address notification form again.
Please let me know.

You can move anywhere in Canada once you are landed unless you are a provincial nominee. You can give an address in any province when you land except Quebec. You should not plan to land in Quebec unless you have a CSQ, although some people have reported success landing in Quebec and giving an address in another province, I wouldn't want to take the risk. Your PR cards should be delivered to the address you provided. If you are in Canada and it has been more than 30 days call the 1-800 number. Yes, the clock starts ticking when you land. The address notification function on CIC's website might have some bugs.

I landed in ottawa but gave the PR mailing address in Montreal (Quebec)
Do you think that is creating the problem.Please let me know.
