I had sent my passport last week after getting the request and will be getting it back next week and will be landing next week itself.
What are the documents do I need for landing, I am currently not working since I am a full time student.

What is the process to convert my international student status to a local student ( I have one more semester left) is this done at the college? what do I need to do about my study permit?

Thanks

You will receive your passport along with a confirmation of permanent residence(COPR) document and one photo. Take these along with your study permit to land.
To change your status at school, provide a copy of the COPR and immigrant visa and your fees will be adjusted accordingly. You won't need the study permit anymore and can do with it as you wish. :D

I was advised to keep my first visa that I used to study in Canada as it will come in handy when I'm ready to retire, so I suggest you do the same.
