Hello me and my husband are landing in Canada as a pr separately. I am very confused about how much money we can bring in Canada. My husband is primary applicant and he will do soft landing and is planning to bring minimal cash but he will show the balance of his bank accounts and stay for few days while me her spouse will permanently move. Is it ok for the dependent to carry more cash than him? And is it ok to bring cash from parents given as a gift? Or do we need to show proof that the money is our income and not anyone else's? Also is it ok to bring cad 10000 by the spouse individually? please any detail suggestions are welcome

Each individual can carry up to 10k CAD cash, TCs etc. Any amount above that has to be declared to the CBSA officer at the port of entry.
