Landing in Canada with COPR but transit in UK

Hi

Could you please help me out on the following query:

I have a flight from dehi, India to Torronto, Canada via transit in London, UK. I have the same airline throughout and the airline confirmed that I wont need to recheck-in my bags. I have layover of 1.5 hours only. Do I need a transit visa at Heathrow, UK since as far as I know, the airline arrives and depart from the same terminal but I don't have valid Canada visa but a COPR for the time being. Or Do i need to apply for a DATY? Can someone who experience the same recently, confirm pls?

No, you don’t need transit visa as long as you have Canadian TRV
