Hi everyone,

This forum has always been helpful to everyone whoever is trying to migrate to Canada. I have a small question and seeking for answer from the experts.

I got my passport stamped in March 2010. Currently I am in US and I had applied for PR from US. I would like to enter Canada from third country, will there be any issues while entering from third country or I need to enter from US.

Thanks

U can 'enter' a Canadian POE from anywhere. Not necessarily from your application addresses.

If you are trying to avoid the US finding out that you have PR in Canada, by "landing" via a 3rd country so they don't suspend your green card application, it probably won't work. USINS (Homeland Security) has access to Canadian Immigration Records.

Hi PMM,

I am not trying to do so... let me tell you my situation.

I am in H1b now.. I am planning to go to my home country and get my H1b stamped and come back to US and after few months I wanted to go to Canada and that will be just for PR process, once it is done I would like to come back to US again until my GC process in US is finalized.
