I'm in Canada on work permit and I got my Visa and landing papers for PR through New delhi Visa office today and I have the passport in India. Somebody will carry my passport to Canada soon. My question is below

1. Can I complete the landing formalities without entering US? Can I get it done in border.
2. If so, what all documents I need to carry while landing. As I'm in Canada, I do not have to show the POF. Is this true.

Please suggest the easiest way for me to complete the landing formalities.

The fastest way is to go to the border and flagpole. You will leave Canada, arrive on the US side. If you do not have a US visa, you tell them that and tell them that you do not want to enter, you want to turn around and go back to Canada to take care of some immigration business. They will then turn you around, you arrive back in Canada and land.

Thanks for the information! Will the US border security put rejection or any other remarks in my passport in this case?

They may make a note that you arrived at the border without a visa and were rejected. I don't think they put it in your passport though.
