Ok so the person gets off the plane at pearson..they walk the long stretch of never ending hallway....then they reach the customs area...which line do they go to to land?

Same line as everyone else. When it's their turn to speak with an immigration officer, they tell the immigration officer they are landing.

Adding more to scylla comment....

After stamping on your passport the officer will guide you to the other room or area where you will proceed and complete the landing process as a PR of Canada(Immigration Officer again checks all the details on your COPR and updates in the data base etc etc)....Good luck

Have to agree with you Saffy, that walkway to the immigration area at Pearson is crazy long. I timed it last time I was there. It took us almost 15 mins to walk from our landing gate to the immigration area.

When I was at Pearson in August I noticed that they now have a Citizen/PR line and a VISITOR line, which I never noticed before.... I intend to tell my husband that he should go into the Citizen line since he is landing as a PR... I think that makes the most sense.

Usually, if u boot it and walk fast u can finish that super walk in a little over 5 minutes! It is quite long though! and I mean boot it!
