Hello Everyone.
Just posting a landing experience to show up in searches for anyone down the track needing information.
Received my CoPR in the mail this morning so we drove to the land border from the Canadian side.
At the US border the officer asked us our intention. To enter the USA and turn around and reenter Canada. I said the intention was to flagpole but he entered us into the USA and said to drive down the freeway and turnaround. He was in a good mood so just seemed like a standard entry. I'm a NZ passport my fiance Canadian.
We turned around and made our way back to the Canadian entry. The officer on the Canadian side asked our intentions to enter Canada - my fiance is Canadian and I'm entering as a new PR. He took my coPR and checked it over. He then told us to head to Secondary inspection and go inside. We went inside and repeated the same answers above. Told us to take a seat and won't be long. There was no one inside waiting, just us at 12:30pm.
After some addtional questions like when I first entered Canada, any criminal activity etc we sat back down. After 15 minuets we where called back to the agent who made me sign the CoPR and goods to follow. Said Welcome to Canada, have a nice day. That was it. Got in our car and returned home.
Very easy process, from entry to the USA, turn around, confirmed entry status maybe 45 minuets total time.
From here - I'm not Canadian, but treated as one
Good luck to future applicants.
