Hello guys,
I'm landing in Vancouver with a family of 4 in 1 month and there is still some unclearness.
-Can I bring 10000 cad per person in cash or not? I read that you can bring more than 10000 cad per person in cash and in this case you should fill in the declaration e677 https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/e677-eng.html and if the sum is under 10000 cad no declaration needed. Is this right? Should I pay any fee in this case?
-Should I mention funds that are at the debit account in a non-Canadian bank when an officer asks me about funds during landing procedure? Should I mention them in the declaration e677?
-when/where should I mention my estate in a foreign country?
Thanks in advance.

1. You can bring as much cash as you want. There's no limit. However you need to declare if it's more than 10K in total. Note if you are travelling together as a group and everyone carries 10K. That's 40K in total and you must declare.

2. Declaration card only applies to cash you carry with you. If you are referring to proof of funds, just carry a bank statement in case CBSA asks for it

3. CBSA don't ask you about foreign estate when you land. It's irrelevant. Consult with an accountant if you have any question on that when file your tax
