Hello Everyone,
We landed in 2008 and have finally settled in 2011. We got our PR Cards but my daughter (3 years then in 2008) was not given a PR Card as her photo was a mismatch. As a result we travelled on Travel Document to settle now. Now if I apply for a PR Card for my daughter, I have 3 concerns: 1- Can I apply for a PR Cards after 3 years of landing 2- What if we apply and declare less than 730 days in our "residency obligation declaration" (as we will not complete our residency obligation (short by 3 months and will apply for our PR renewal once we complete 730 days) 3- What if I do not apply for a PR Card for my daughter and keep on living with IMM5292. Daughter has got admission to school already and we are all settled in Canada.

Please advise,

1. You are only apply for your daughters PR card, not yours, which I assume are valid for another 2 years. You don't apply to renew yours until you have accumulated 730 days.

Dear PMM,
Thanks for the reply.
U r right - will need to apply for PR card for my daughter.
Can we live with just the landing document w/o a PR card as we do not plan to travel out of Canada any more?
Where will the PR card be required?

Because we have not and are not completing residency requirement, there are chances we getting questioned once we declare our days in the PR form. Can we live w/o daughter's PR card?

Please advise.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I do not know if a child will be asked for a PR card for example to enter school but if you haven't been asked for it yet, I think you should try to wait until you all reach 730 days and then apply for all your PR cards together.
