Hi Guys

I have quick question as to landing. I am Principal Applicant and in Canada, I am planning to do my landing through US Border. I will drive and complete my landing. However, my wife is in home country and I was wondering if she will fly from there directly and do her landing at airport separately because I don't want to travel to home country and come back together. Is that an option? Will it cause some problems for her or myself?

Anyone who has done landing separately...please share your experience...

Thank you and God bless!

There is no problem at all.
As you are the principal applicant, you should land first.
Your wife can land any time within the validity of the visa period. Ensure she has her original COPR.

When I will do landing, will I get her COPR as well? Also, if she will bring her Jewellery, who will declare that in list of goods, myself or her?

If you have her original COPR now, give it to her to take along with her passport while landing. She will only get a copy after her landing.

There is no need to declare jewelry by you and she can tell it to the customs while her landing, if he/she ask.If she has got a lot of jewelry, she can mention in the B4 form which she should keep with her. But if she has only reasonable quantity, no need to make a form for it. There is an embarkation form distributed to all passengers in the airplane before landing. She can fill up only that form. No need to mention about her jewelry.
