No - not possible. You can only land at an airport if you are arriving on an international flight from outside of Canada.

If you are already in Canada, You cannot do landing on Airport. Below are the 2 options
1. Go to USA border and do a flag polling. can be arranged very easily. But careful, what your status, your name or personal history should not be alram raising to USA border security agency.
2. do landing via Service Canada office. Need to book appointment, there is long waiting period. sometimes even they will ask you to try USA flag polling.

Thanks guys. That has answered my question.
So when US immigration hands you the rejection letter I understand that it doesn't affect you in the future but when you are filling out an application for a visitors visa to US they ask big you have ever being refused entry into the states. I'm guessing that you have to answer yes to that? And explain that you were flag polling? I ask via I know thy always ask that question and since they hand you a letter stating your refusal of entry then Its something you would have to answer yes to...right??

Yes, that is true. It wont affect your aplication for usa visitor visa. Just answer Yes to the question, and explain what happened. I had no issues getting us visa, and i did flag polling few months before applying.

kayceesin is right , but to be honest, there is no need to answer as "YES". Because in fact, "Flag Pole" is different that "Refused Entry".

When you do a "Flag Pole", you arrive at the border and voluntarily tell the Customs Officer, that you are here to go back.
Think of it, you were driving by car and accidently ended up the wrong way, arriving at the border. So this case is, you voluntarily, tell the officer, that you wanna go back the other way.

Now, if the person is attempting to enter the country and due to some problem that the Officer is identifying, his entry being refused. Then, this is the actual "Refused Entry" situation.

Bottom line, no worries of the "Flag Pole" and IMO , anywhere you've been asked, have you been refused entry to the US, the answer should be "No". Because that is the fact.

Hi Guys,

I had applied PR under CEC from Canada and then moved to India. I got my landing visa and COPR in India.
I am planning to land in Canada after couple of weeks from India.

Please advice on what all documents I need to carry with me?
Do I need to book appointment for landing?
Do I need proof of funds?
How much cash is needed in hand?
I am planning to stay in Canada for 1 week and then return back to India.
I will be staying with my friend there and will provide his address for PR and SIN card
to be delivered on.

Thanks in advance.
