So, IRCC website states the following:

When you arrive in Canada
You must have
  • your valid passport or travel documents
  • your COPR and your permanent resident visa (if we gave you one)
  • proof you have the funds to support yourself and your family after you arrive in Canada

So, I (In-Canada applicant) just recently got my PR (COPR + PR Card) and my wife got her Visa (Outland dependent). I am flying back home soon to bring my wife to Canada. Our arrival in Canada will be at the Montreal Airport (13 hr layover) and then to Vancouver. So I guess customs/immigration at Montreal.

1. What is the process for us? I know she must go through customs/immigration. Will I be able to be with her or will they not allow me there as I have my PR card?
2. Will she have to show funds? She has no funds (she is and will be a homemaker). I didn't think this was necessary as when I applied for CEC, I had to make sure I have enough funds to support myself and dependent. I have a job and some funds, but will they be asking her to show any money?

Thanks.
