I am posting here for a friend. She recently received her PR under MPNP and looking forward to land at Emerson border crossing. She called CIC for landing at local CIC office but the date she is getting will not work because her visa will expire.
The problem she is facing is that she does not have a car nor a license to drive. She does have a US visa and have been to US last in Sept 13 but don't have a current I94.
What are the possible options for her? She does not want to land in Ontario where I can drive her because she is under PNP and does not want to send the wrong message at POE.
Can she do the landing on foot like say somebody drives her to Emerson and then she proceeds on foot?
What should she say to US side of Customs when she goes for landing because she does not want administrative refusal and does not mind entering the US.
