So it might line up that my mom might make the landing around the time where we are going to take a two-week trip to the US (of course assuming there are no more border restrictions by then). I've heard that it's fine to do that landing through a land border like Niagara or Buffalo. We could of course plan for her to come directly to Canada at a different week but we thought it would be fun for her to spend the vacation with us and our kids.
My concern is more with US border; would they create a fuss to see that she is entering the US with no return ticket? 11 years ago we did the same thing, but we had a Canada-bound flight on the same day; she won't have it because we will be crossing the border to Canada together on our car.
Did anyone make similar plans and can share the experience?
Thanks.
