My wife and I are landing for a day I Canada (Newfoundland) next week and I wanted to ask for som advice on 2 things:
The first is the personal effects form which we are completing as I would like to know if they expect us to list clothing and shoe items in this list? If they do then it could get long hence why I wanted clarification.
The second is regarding proof of funds. We have over £14k in our savings account and will be taking recent bank statements with us. We will also be taking about $300 in cash as we are only there for 16hours in total. Is the bank statements OK to take as I've read some people say that these funds need to be transferred into a Canadian bank account which is not what we plan to do just yet as we will eventually look to settle by end of next year (2017).
Would appreciate your insight.
Thanks
