Landing and New passport question

Hello,

For people who did the landing, why did you have to go to US for an administrator refusal? Why can't you just go straight to the custom?

Also my app is in progress since August. When is it a good time to get a new passport? Now? After PPR? I'm thinking getting a new US visa before landing on the new passport

Are you in Canada?

Those who are in Canada, have 2 options when they receive their COPR

1. Go outside Canada (via land border, or via plane) and come back to Canada. Those who chose via land border need proof that they went outside Canada, thus the Administrative Refusal from the other country (US Border).

2. Book an appointment from your local CIC office and do your "landing" there.

BTW, it's Immigration, not Customs.
