Landing ahead

Hi

We just got our passport request, i was wondering, can i land first (primary applicant) and my dependents land after a couple of months?

I tried searching in the CIC website, is there any special forms that I need to fill up or advice to?

Anybody with experience of having different dates of landing, would appreciate and information that can be shared.

This is what I know from what I've read in our forums.

The principal applicant can land before the dependents and they can follow as long as they land before the deadline is up (usually one year from the date of the medicals).
